Group and Private Lessons
The Frost Preparatory Program at the Frost School of Music welcomes students at all stages in their musical journey from ages 5 and up. We teach piano, guitar, voice, strings, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments, in group and private settings.
Our program truly offers something for every student, from hour-long intensive private lessons and masterclasses that prepare the student for the nation's top conservatories, to group classes, musical theatre, rhythm ensembles and more, that allow students to have fun and develop a lifelong love of music.
At the earlier levels, we emphasize developing reading and musicianship skills, so that the students are able to become self-sufficient and independent learners, that can think critically and learn pieces on their own. Whether the student aims for a concert career, or simply the lifelong hobby of the study of music, we want to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and love of music that will enable them to fulfill their goals.
We welcome you to visit our classes, meet with our faculty, and find out how we can help develop your child's musical potential to the fullest.
