Classes are located at the Frost School of Music, 5501 San Amaro Dr, Coral Gables, FL 33146 and at the Hillel-Braman Miller Center, 5615 Pavia St, Coral Gables, FL 33146.
Parents with students enrolled in Suzuki for Tots classes must attend all classes and private lessons with their child as it is an integral part of the curriculum. For group piano and all other Frost Prep private lessons and classes, we recommend that parents do not attend the class. If you have any concerns about the class structure and attendance, please contact us at frostprep@miami.edu.
Parking at the Frost School of Music is available in the Purple lot. The entrance to the purple lot is located at the traffic circle where San Amaro Drive and Miller Drive meet. Parking is head in only. Families attending Saturday classes will use the posted paybyphone parking code. If you are attending weekday classes, please use the PayByPhone code 330019 to park, as the posted codes will not work during the week before 4:00pm.
All Frost Prep private lessons and group classes will become non-transferrable and non-refundable after 30 days from the start of the semester. Before 30 days, please contact use at frostprep@miami.edu to change a class, otherwise, no refund will be issued for the remainder of the semester.
Yes, Frost Prep students have a variety of performance opportunities including our Holiday Performances, The Palace Outreach and the Prep Final Recital.
Yes, our Suzuki for Tots courses offer a bilingual option for our students who would prefer a Spanish-speaking instructor.
If you need to change sessions due to extenuating circumstances, please contact our office for availability at frostprep@miami.edu. Changes made 30 days past the start of the semester may be subject to a $50 change fee.
No, all classes are offered on the University of Miami Coral Gables Campus.
Frost Prep welcomes students of all ages! We offer courses starting from 4 months old up to 18 years old. We also provide lessons for adults upon request. Our programs accommodate all experience levels, from introductory music appreciation to advanced college audition preparation.
