Abby Guido, originally from Boynton Beach, Florida, is an alumna and current student at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. In addition to her Stage One Suzuki Early Childhood Education Certification, Abby earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance in 2023 and will earn a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance in May 2025 while studying in Robynne Redmon’s studio. In 2022, Abby had the honor of creating the role of Caterina in the world premier of The Leopard composed by Michael Dellaira with libretto by J. D. McClatchy with Frost Opera Theater, conducted by Gerard Schwartz, alongside Kim Josephson, Kevin Short, and Robynne Redmon. The recording of The Leopard has recently been released on the NAXOS label. Abby later performed the role of Contessa in W.A. Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro in 2023, conducted by Alan Johnson.
