Juan Andres Gomez is currently a Piano Instructor at the University of Miami’s Frost Preparatory Program. Growing up, music played an integral part in his life, from performing in recitals to singing in family gatherings. His music education, both formal and informal, gave him a chance to develop his love for music.

Raised in Miami, Florida, Juan Andres Gomez is a proud product of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. As a student at Maritime and Science Technology Academy, he performed, arranged, and directed the school’s Percussion Ensemble. In addition to his public education, he also attended the Frost Prep Advanced Program, where he refined his musicianship and piano performance skills. He later attended Florida International University’s Wertheim School of Music, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.

His extensive pedagogical career at Frost Prep has granted him the opportunity to impact many students’ lives through his love of music. If there's one thing Juan wants his students to leave his classroom with, it's having a love for music, so they can share it with the world.
